Le Postiche Destinations

 

Le Postiche is the largest retail chain in the luggage, bags, and travel accessories segment in Brazil. Its stores are located all over the country, usually inside important shopping centers.

 

In 2019, Le Postiche wanted to increase sales, build customer loyalty and increase visibility among their target market.

 

That’s why AFT developed a year-long campaign involving contest sales promotions, co-branding, and partnerships with influencers.

Goals

 

  • To increase sales both in Le Postiche’s physical stores and online shop;

  • To build customer’s loyalty;

  • To increase Le Postiche’s visibility and to do the same for other AFT clients or partners.

Strategies

 

Since Le Postiche is an important brand for people who travel as a habit, the main strategy was developing 11 contest sales promotions throughout the year. They raffled trips to different destinations among clients that registered on the website after spending over R$ 200 either on Le Postiche’s stores or online shop.

 

Each contest sales promotion was connected to a specific time of the year, holiday, or commemorative day, such as Valentine’s Day or Father’s Day. The trip destinations were:

 

  • South Africa;

  • Alentejo, Portugal;

  • Greek Islands (on a cruise ship);

  • Las Vegas, USA;

  • Riviera Maya, Mexico;

  • Paris, France;

  • Tuscany, Italy;

  • Atacama Desert, Chile;

  • Universal Orlando Resort, USA;

  • Curaçao;

  • Madeira Island, Portugal.

 

To achieve that, we signed partnerships with the prize-destinations tourism bureaus, airlines TAP Air Portugal, Copa Airlines and South Africa Airways, travel insurance company Coris Seguro Viagem, tour operator TGK Travel, Paradisus Resorts, Universal Orlando Resort, and Norwegian Cruise Line.

 

Besides creating every contest sales promotion’s concept, preparing their whole mechanics, and dealing with the partners, we built each of their microsites, filled with specific content about the destinations. AFT was also responsible for creating every social media post about the partners that were published on Le Postiche’s social media pages and profiles, and e-mails marketing sent to all their contacts.

 

Additionally, we organized trips for digital influencers, who talked about the destinations and brands involved in this campaign on their social media profiles. Among the selected profiles were @leopaidosbe, @taliramos, @monicasalgado, @nosnatrip, and others.

Results
Repercussion

 

Throughout 2019, the contest sales promotions surpassed 50,000 registrations, resulting in sales increase both online and offline, increased brand awareness, client loyalty, and client engagement.
